Printmakers Inc
Printmakers Inc.
Printmakers Inc. was formed in 2010 by a core group of five printmakers based primarily in North London: Emiko Aida , Barbara Jackson, Aimée Birnbaum, Angela Brookes, and Theresa Pateman. Connected by a network of artist-run printmaking galleries in South London (Southbank and Greenwich Printmakers), they gather together other individual printmakers from all over the UK, to create exciting exhibitions.
Anne Kerr
Landscape Painter, working from memory using textures, and mark-making. Eclectic style in size and materials from 6ft seascapes to small polished paintings.
"I try to capture the atmosphere of the landscape, it’s transient mood, the different light of our four seasons. This is where I hope to convey the feeling of the place and not it’s description". Instagram annekerr101
Barbara Jackson
After completing a degree in Illustration at St Martins School of Art, Barbara went on to do a post graduate course at London University in Art Teaching. Since then she has taught people from toddlers to adults and continued my own art work.
She held two one man shows and exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition,
the Mall Galleries and OXO Gallery.
‘In my work- l aim to capture the play of light and shade and the human condition.
In my print work it is battle to balance the art and craft -but the making of a good print and a decent painting brings me joy’
Jane Daniell
I have taken part in many exhibitions at venues worldwide. I have also supplied artwork for RSC (Canada and Stratford, UK), the Globe Theatre, the National Theatre and the Theatre Museum. I have been a member of Southbank Printmakers and the Printmakers Council for many years and am currently Chair of SBP
I have developed a range of work using painting and etching, the subject matter of which is often drawn from perennial themes. I prefer to work from my imagination, creating my own images with factual reference for the detail. I am drawn to the mysterious world of the unconscious, always asking ‘what if?’ https://janedaniell.com

Angela Brookes
Angela’s prints explore the mystery and the glory of the landscape, both rural, urban, and imagined. She often visits Norfolk where she is attracted to the vast open spaces and huge skies, so typical of the area. She enjoys depicting the ever-changing effects of light and colour at different times of the day, and as the seasons roll through the year.
Her most recent work has focussed on drypoint in conjunction with a second monoprint plate as she likes the excitement of making each image distinct and individual. She has also been experimenting with light-based transfer of her drawings (often from memory) on to solar plate.
Angela has exhibited her work in many galleries including Royal West of England Academy, The National Theatre, The Dulwich Picture Gallery, Oxo Gallery, The Mall Galleries, The Menier Gallery, Glyndebourne Festival Gallery, and the Biscuit Factory Gallery, Newcastle. Her work is on permanent display in Greenwich Printmakers gallery and is held in private collections in the UK and worldwide. Instagram:angela.brookes
