CODY CHOI’S STYLE AND APPROACH
Cody’s breathtaking dance portraits create a visceral sensation of flight and
thrill. Observers are pinned to the spot as they anticipate the dancers’ next
move. His approach isn’t simply to follow their movement though, but to move
and ‘breath with them’. As well as the beautiful shapes of their bodies, Cody
pays close attention to the dance of their clothes, hair and expressions for an
all-engulfing action shot.

Cody’s extensive experience as a dancer is equal to his acclaim as a modern
photographer. He has shot for Samsung TV, Ben Sherman, Affordable Art Fair
in Hong Kong, Singapore and London, Taipei 101, Accessible Art Fair in
Brussels Casa Monaco with Imitate Modern and Saatchi Art in New York, Los
Angeles, Chicago, London and Bristol. He has also been featured in London
TV, Samsung TV, Time Out, Aesthetica Magazine, Metro Newspaper, The
Evening Standard, and more.
